About
I received my BA from the University of Victoria, finishing a double major with honours in Anthropology and Greek and Roman Studies. I completed my MA at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My research interests focus around the architecture of the Aegean Bronze Age, urbanism and street systems in Middle and Late Bronze Age settlements, phenomenological approaches to space, space syntax and GIS-based analysis, and 3D modelling of structures. I am especially interested in Minoan domestic spaces and how they relate to access within and throughout Neopalatial settlements in Central and Eastern Crete. My MA thesis “Room for Change: Assessing the Neopalatial Houses of Kommos and Pseira” focussed on the space syntax and visual access analysis of Kommos and Pseira, and the resulting patterns within and between the two sites’ domestic spaces. I plan to explore and uncover these patterns in other Neopalatial settlements through my PhD dissertation.
Current projects
I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of British Columbia.
I have previously worked as an Archaeological Field Technician with Stantec in British Columbia (2022-2024), and an archaeologist with the Austrian Institute for five field seasons at Aigeira, Greece (2021-2025). Additionally, I have participated in archaeological excavations at Badia Pozzeveri in Italy (2018), Lavrakia, Crete in Greece (2024), and Kalavasos Ayios Dhimitrios in Cyprus (2025).
