Christopher Thoms-Bauer is an MA student in Classics. Chris earned a BA in History from Kean University in 2020 to become a secondary social studies teacher. In 2022, he completed a BA in Classics from Rutgers University, receiving a high honors distinction for his thesis titled “Servile Enforcement and Reform: The Roman Law of Slavery from Diocletian through Constantine.” Chris works as both a research assistant and a teaching assistant at UBC. In his spare time, Chris either reads widely or laments over the New Jersey Devils.
