Announcing the first AMNE Undergraduate Research Conference, ‘On the Margins of (Pre)History: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Connection and Marginality in the Ancient World!’
The conference will be held on April 10th, 2025 by the editorial team of the AMNE undergraduate journal, Logos. Undergraduate students across departments will present their research interests to other members of the UBC community and the general public. Students will have the opportunity to work on their presentation skills, learn from their peers, and participate in a workshop about accessible scholarship. An early-career scholar will also give a keynote address. The goal of the event is to familiarize undergraduate students with academic conference environments, and to help them make connections between one another’s research interests.
