About
I graduated with my BA in History at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris, France. There, I also completed my MA and MRes in History and Anthropology of Antiquity, focusing on the cults and myths of the so-called Achaian foundations of Southern Italy.
My research focuses mainly on the Western Greek world, namely Sicily and Magna Graecia. I’m especially interested in exploring how the religious sytems and myths helped in shaping the identity of Greek cities in this region.
My approach is interdisciplinary, comparing sources of different natures (literary, epigraphic, numismatic, and archaeological) and combining methodologies from History, Anthropology, Classics, and Religious Studies.
