About

After graduating from Indiana University in 2022 with Bachelors of Arts in Art History, Classical Civilizations, and History, I began a graduate certificate in geospatial technologies from the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies at the University of Arkansas. Summer 2022 I excavated with the NYU-University of Milan team at Selinunte, Sicily, a fascinating site of cultural encounter. My undergraduate research focused on Ancient Near Eastern and Aegean iconography related to human-animal relationships during the Late Bronze Age. I am a member of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens where I have participated in a seminar focusing on Greek funerary practices and a field school on geoarchaeology which included microstratigraphic and micromorphological observation in the Athenian Agora.

As an M.A. student, I am interested in researching transcultural connections and mobility in the Eastern Mediterranean during the Late Bronze Age. I seek to apply GIS to interdisciplinary projects that aim to contextualize existing archaeological research to create a better understanding of the Bronze Age collapse. I am also interested in the intersection of ancient climate and mobility.
