The proceedings of a conference that Dr. Thomas Schneider organized at UBC in April 2017 on Ancient Egypt and the Environment have been published by the Journal of Ancient Egyptian Interconnections as Gift of the Nile? Ancient Egypt and the Environment. The contributors offer studies on the cultural and environmental impact of the Nile on the people of ancient Egypt. Dr. Schneider is co-editor with Christine Johnston of Western Washington University.
