Join us on April 5th, 5:30-7 pm, in the Totem Park Commonsblock Ballroom, for a conversation with Liv Albert for a Q&A discussion on the art of podcasting and examining ancient myth from a modern perspective!

Liv Albert

Liv has recently published a new book, Nectar of the Gods, and will be joining us for a Q&A discussion about the wildly popular “Let’s Talk About Myths, Baby!” podcast. There will be pizza, AMNE monster stickers, and AMNE’s own Professor Tara Mulder will be channeling her inner Pythia to showcase the ancient art of bibliomancy, divining your future through Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey! AMNE’s Department Head, Professor Michael Griffin, will also be joining us to provide some ambient music by playing a few tunes on the department’s reconstructed ancient Greek lyre!

We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a fascinating conversation and an opportunity to see how skills you can learn through AMNE can be applied to non-academic careers!

Submit your questions for Liv in advance by commenting on our Instagram post, @amneubc, and you’ll be entered to win a copy of her new book!

No RSVP is required for this event!
