With so much to see on Imagine Day, it’s hard to know where to start! The Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies Department (formally CNERS) is hosting a number of events to welcome you to the department.
11:30am – 1:15pm: AMNE booth at the Faculty of Arts Fair in the Buchanan Courtyard.
You can meet some of our Profs, staff, and some fellow students, and get to know more about the offerings and opportunities we provide!
1-4pm: AMNE SA Booth on Main Mall.
The AMNE Student Association, our wonderful student-run club, will also be on Main Mall among the other academic clubs. Come check them out and learn about the amazing events they run and the many ways in which you can get involved in the AMNE student community.
4-5pm in Buchanan B213.
Lastly, for returning students (and any other interested students), the AMNE Department will be hosting an event, It’s an AMNE Affair, to welcome you all back to classes. Join us for an afternoon of FUN. Dazzle us with your know-how or share a laugh during our ‘The Ancient World in Modern Media’ Trivia Contest (+ prizes!), mingle with fellow students and faculty, and enjoy some light refreshments. This event is open to anyone studying with AMNE or interested in learning more. We hope to see you there!
Happy Imagine Day!
